The Choir and Orchestra of the UBA started in 2003 a new project based on scenic plays and choral- symphonic repertoire.
In its few years of life, it hosted shows of the Opera "Dido and Aeneid" in the Museum of Decorative Art , Coliseum Theatre and Colon Theatre in 2003.
In has also performed Mozart's and Bach's plays such as "Pasion segun San Juan ".
At present the organism is composed of 80 members. Its main vocal singles have been:
Mónica Capra, Pablo Pollitzer, Alejandro Meerapfel, Salomé Inchaurrondo, Rosana Bravo, Raquel Winnicas, Selene Lara, Andrea Maragno, Mariana Mederos, Beatriz Quinteiro, Celina Torres, Guadalupe Aimé Barrientos, Maico Hisao, IvanMaier, Esteban Manzano, Martín Caltaviano, Rodrigo Ciarmiello, Manuel López Camelino, Pablo Travaglino, Emanuel Esteban, Mariano Fernández Bustinza, Sergio Carlevaris, Armando Garrido y Rodolfo Marchesini (violin), Pedro Cochiararo (oboe), Raúl Becerra (flute) y Ariel de Vedia (clarinet).
In 2007 the group will show an integral version of "La pasion según San Mateo " by J. S. Bach with the help of the Szterenfeld Foundation. go to link >>
