The Coordination of the Museum Network - UBA was created in 2002 to foster the relation among the university museums in order to strengthen their development, cooperate in the
spreading of its activities and cater for their needs concerning conservation and restoration of collections, documentations and pieces inventory, training of human resources and research, as well as the improvement of its facilities.
The Museum Network carries out extension and scientific spreading tasks, boosting the available resources and creating areas in common for the different disciplines.
Because of their heterogeneity regarding discipline, their inclusion in the network emphasizes their university qualitiy, reinforcing their identity and a belonging that fosters critical reflection regarding the discipline, professional practices and history. |
