The Food Department of the University of Buenos Aires offers in its Food Program three courses of studies oriented to training professionals with theoretical and practical knowledge in food production, design, elaboration, industrial processing, commercialization and final distribution.

These courses are organized in two cycles. The first one provides general training and the second one is concerned with specific contents. The first cycle can be approved by passing the subjects corresponding to the first years of the courses of studies in the UBA taught in the Faculties of Agronomy, Exact and Natural Sciences, Veterinary Sciences, Pharmacy and Biochemistry and Engineering.

The Program is also aimed at developing post-graduate courses, research and transference in the area of food.
